Guess the number of candy corn pieces in the ASC jar, win a T-shirt

Come by the Academic Success Center if you dare!

The Halloween decorations are up and, of course, the candy jar is full. In celebration of National Candy Corn Day on Oct. 30, we are having a candy corn counting contest. Come by and take a guess at how many candy corn are in the jar.

We only have a small portion of the 25 million pounds that are produced each year. Did you know that candy corn was invented in 1888 and was called "chicken feed?"

Whoever is the closest to the number will win a Texas Wesleyan T-shirt, plus all the candy corn in the jar. The contest ends Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.
