To spin-off from our popular "Student Spotlight" videos, check out the first installment of our new "My Theatre Wesleyan Story" series. In this series, students tell us about their journey discovering Texas Wesleyan, their career goals, and more.

Sophomore theatre major Michelle Phillips has been named the first student of the 2015-16 school year to be featured in a new weekly video series called My Theatre Wesleyan Story.

Michelle started doing theatre work throughout the DFW community almost four years ago.  After getting theatre experience within the community, she decided to go back to school to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree.

It had been almost 10 years since Michelle was in school, but she was determined to do what she loved.  After speaking with other actors in the area, she was introduced to Texas Wesleyan University and decided to apply.

Currently about to finish her third semester, Michelle is encouraging nontraditional students to find ways to go back to school to do what they love.
