Do faculty need a ticket to the ceremony?

Tickets are not required for participating faculty members (faculty who are robing or hooding a student in the ceremony).

Faculty who are not participating in the ceremony, but would like to attend should contact the Office of the Provost for ticket information.  

What regalia should faculty wear to Robing and Hooding?

All academic regalia should be worn to the Commencement Ceremony excluding mortar boards and tams.  

*A limited supply of academic regalia is available for loan in the Office of the Provost. Please contact Amber Coronado, executive academic administrator, for more information.  

Where and when do faculty arrive?

Robing Ceremony - Undergraduate Students 

Faculty should meet in the hallway of the McFadden Science Lecture Theatre (SLT) at 10:15 a.m. to be lined up. The processional will leave at 10:50 a.m.   

Hooding Ceremony - Masters and Doctoral Students

Faculty should meet in the hallway of the McFadden Science Lecture Theatre (SLT) at 5:15 p.m. to be lined up. The processional will leave at 5:50 p.m.
