Come walk, run or cheer on the racers at the 5th annual W5K! The event, located on and around the beautiful Texas Wesleyan campus, includes a chip-timed 5K, a 1-mile Willie Walk, free beer, kids zone, vendor fair, DJ, awards and more. Proceeds support student scholarships.

The Wesleyan 5K schedule of events is as follows:

• 7:30 a.m.: walk-up registration
• 8 a.m.: Willie Walk begins
• 8:15 a.m.: 5K begins
• 9:45 a.m.: awards ceremony
• 7:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.: vendor fair, kids zone, food, free beer and music
