The Texas Wesleyan Alumni Association is pleased to announce Sandy Caffee '84 as the recipient of the 2021 Wesleyan Service Award. The Wesleyan Service Award is presented to a Texas Wesleyan graduate whose service to the University and its alumni has contributed to the success of the Alumni Association and its programs.

Sandy graduated from LD Bell High School and graduated from Texas Wesleyan in 1984. She was an active student at TXWES, serving as president of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, and was a member of the honor societies Alpha Lambda Delta (Freshman), Sigma Tau Delta (English) and Mortar Board.

After graduation, Sandy was an elementary school teacher and currently serves as the Human Resources assistant at Christ Chapel Bible Church. She has been married to her husband Jeff for 35 years, and together they have 2 children and 6 grandchildren.

When football returned to Texas Wesleyan, Sandy stepped up to serve and help the program succeed. Sandy is a founding member of the Football Advisory Committee and Ram Club, and chairs the annual Texas Wesleyan Ram Football Golf Tournament, which has raised more than $140,000 for the football program.

Sandy’s work ethic, positive spirit, and dedication to TXWES students and the football program have made a lasting impact on the university.
