Thanks to the hard work from our on-campus staff in the aftermath of last week’s severe winter weather, Texas Wesleyan will resume in-person classes beginning Saturday, Feb. 27 using the previously announced spring 2021 hybrid schedule.
Due to the continuing repairs and lost class time from the weather, there have been changes made to class schedules and several student services:
To make up for lost class time, classes will be held Thursday and Friday, April 1 and 2, which was previously planned as Easter break.
For those students taking 7-week courses, the current spring 7-week session will end on Monday, March 8. The next 7-week session will begin as planned on Tuesday, March 9.
Classes will be held Wednesday-Friday, May 5-7 and final exams originally scheduled for those days will be pushed back by one week to Wednesday-Friday, May 12-14.
Due to ongoing repairs, Library staff will be set up in the student lounge on the first floor of the Martin Center. You’ll be able to reserve and return books, pick up your ID and parking permits, check out headphones for computer lab use and access reference and interlibrary loan services. Staff will be available during the following hours:
Computer labs will also be available for use in Schollmaier Science and Technology Center (STC) and staffed by library employees during the following times:
Labs will also be available in the Nenetta Burton Carter (NBC) Building room 102 during these times:
The computer lab in Polytechnic United Methodist Church (PUMC) room 213 will also be available from Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Book pick up for the general collection is available. To request books email email@example.com with the names and call numbers of books requested. There is a 24-hour turnaround time for this service.

Due to ongoing repairs in the West Library, advising and tutoring services have moved to their temporary home in the Polytechnic United Methodist Church (PUMC). Tutoring appointments will be in Bragan Hall. Testing will be held in room 123. Advising appointments will be held in room 125. All virtual appointments will continue on Microsoft Teams. Starting Monday, March 1, the ballroom on the second floor of the Martin Center will be converted to two temporary student lounges during these hours:
