Join CETL and QEP  from 8:45 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, in Lou's Place for Summer Institute 2018!

This year's institute is a continuation of the dialogue stemming from the Fall Kickoff presentation, Equity and Excellence for all Students: Metacognition is the Key! with Dr. Saundra McGuire. Prompted by overwhelming attendance and positive response from both students and faculty, CETL is issuing a call to action challenging students and faculty to transform student learning. New initiatives launched this spring included a pilot study, ACE Your Class Challenge, as well as, a QEP emphasis of introducing students to Bloom's Taxonomy.

Our plan for Summer Institute 2018 is to extend the conversation on encouraging students to own the learning.  You will have an opportunity to evaluate your course syllabus and learning objectives for ways to infuse Bloom’s Taxonomy in your teaching. Lunch will be provided.
