Alicia Smith and guests receive big welcome at the Black History Month events

The Black History Month celebration for 2018 started with the Read in on Feb. 8 featuring author Louis T. McClain and ended with the "Hold fast to your dreams" presentation on Feb. 28 that included Kelly Allen Gray, Council Member for the City of Fort Worth, Dr. Candace Gamble, Pediatric Geneticist at Cook Children’s Hospital and Guest Artist Alicia Smith, undergraduate student at TXWES.

These events were planned as part of the Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan.
