Young Women's Leadership Symposium Feb 17

In partnership with the Greater Fort Worth Advisory Board of the Texas Diversity Council, we are pleased to announce that Texas Wesleyan University will be hosting the Inaugural Young Women’s Leadership Symposium open to young ladies in grades 9-11.

  • Who? Young Women’s Leadership Symposium open to young ladies grades 9-11
  • When? From 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb 17
  • Where? Registration at Baker Building

We are excited about this year’s event and we look forward to bringing community role models and young women together in a dynamic forum.

Symposium Overview

  • A half-day event that will begin with registration at 8:00 a.m.
  • An expected attendance of up to 50 young women attendees (Grades 9-11)
  • A dynamic Keynote Speaker
  • Three interactive workshops
  • Two student-mentor roundtable sessions
  • Snacks, lunch and door prizes…FUN!

This event is free and open to high school girls in grades 9-11. Recommendations can be submitted online using the link belowWe would like to receive your recommendations by Friday, Sept. 1 A member of the Greater Fort Worth Advisory Board team will follow up with the student’s parent/guardian to request authorization for the student to participate.
