Impact & The Future

Over the last 80 years, Texas Wesleyan students have had a place on campus to meet, study and hang out together. Having a place on campus where students run into their professors and get together with other students is a big reason why our "Smaller. Smarter." community is more like a family.

There was the Trading Post and Renfro’s drugstore in the 1930s, the Boaz Student Center from the 1940s to 1980s and the Brown-Lupton Student Center from 1981 to now. The Martin Center will be the new hub for the student experience.

The new Martin Center will be a home for Rams of the 21st century. It will be a landmark at Texas Wesleyan University that can be used by students, faculty, staff and community members. The Martin Center will be common ground for diverse groups of people, from all walks of life to meet and develop a shared community.
