‌Do you realize that when we return after Thanksgiving break that there are only 2 days until Dead Day? That means we are quickly approaching the final countdown of the semester. As of Nov. 1, there are 16 days of classes left before Thanksgiving Break. So much to do in such a little amount of time. Preparation is the key.

Five quick tips for beginning a successful November:

  1. Get your advising completed.
  2. Line up for Freshman registration begins at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 in front of Academic Advising. Bring your schedule card. Pizza will be served.
  3. Plan your finals schedule by determining when your finals are.
  4. Attend the Next Step November Workshop offered by Academic Advising at 12:15 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the Testing Center.
  5. Determine what course content is unclear to you and make an appointment with an ASC tutor.

Stay tuned throughout the month for additional tips for surviving November from the ASC and Academic Advising.
