Two religion faculty and one religion graduate participated in the Southwest Regional Meeting of the Southwest Commission of Religious Studies in Irving, TX, March 8-10, 2019.

The participants

  • Dr. Chad J. Pevateaux presided over the roundtable discussion on Contemplative Studies programs in the Southwest as well as participated in the roundtable discussion on Religion, Medicine, and Health.
  • Dr. Kendra Weddle presented One-Hundred Years in the Making: M. Madeline Southard and Letha Dawson Scanzoni on Ecclesial Equality.
  • McKenzie Brown (2016 graduate) is presented The Problem of the Problem of Evil: How Accessible are Philosophical Solutions to the Problem of Evil
