To prepare for Theatre Wesleyan's production of Nick Jones' zany high fashion sci-fi comedy, opening at Theatre Wesleyan on Feb. 15, theatre major John Traxler has created a Top 5 list for audience members. Here are John Traxler's "Top 5 Tips While Watching Important Hats."

Tip #1

There’s a lot of funny things happening in the background of scenes. So while it’s important to watch who’s talking, watch everyone.

Tip #2

Pay attention to what people say early on, it’ll pay off in the long run.

Tip #3

Watch what you wear or the actors might call you out on your fashion faux pas.

Tip #4

There are a few different time periods but don’t worry, look at the walls and it’ll help you figure out when you are.

Tip #5

Don’t worry! This is a comedy, even if you don’t catch every joke - as long as you have a good time - that’s all that matters.

Hats will be directed by Bryan Stevenson, theatre department chair, and will open on Thursday, Feb. 15, for a limited run of seven performances through Sunday, Feb. 25.

Performances will be held Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and there will be one matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.
