Friday, April 19

Wesleyan Choir Reunion | FREE | Martin Hall, Rehearsal 4:30 - 6:30 p.m                                                                                   

Come back to TXWES during Alumni Weekend to make beautiful music with fellow former Wesleyan Singers and music students! Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Will Chandler along with former directors Dr. Stephen Simons and Dr. Jerome Bierschenk will lead rehearsal on Friday night, followed by a concert at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. You won’t want to miss this special opportunity to sing and with friends old and new!

Greek Alumni Mixer | FREE | Joe’s Hangout, 5 - 7 p.m.

Join fellow Texas Wesleyan Greeks at this fun and informal mixer at Joe's Hangout (3020 Rosedale St.), right across the street from campus! Wear your letters and come reminisce with fellow members of TXWES fraternities and sororities.

School of Education Alumni Mixer | FREE | Dan Waggoner Hall, 5:30 - 7 p.m.

Join Dr. Carlos Martinez, faculty and fellow alumni from the School of Education at Dan Waggoner Hall for a chance to reconnect with fellow educators! There will be a special presentation about the Ed.D. program and plenty of time to enjoy bites and drinks. Call your TXWES friends and make plans to come back to where it all began!

School of Business Alumni Mixer | FREE | Armstrong-Mabee Business Building, 5:30 - 7 p.m.

Join Dean Sameer Vaidya, faculty and fellow alumni from the School of Business for a chance to reconnect and network. The reception will be in the Armstrong-Mabee business building on campus and will include snacks, drinks and fellowship.

School of Arts & Sciences Alumni Mixer | FREE | Ed & Rae Schollmaier Science and Technology Center Lobby, 5 - 7 p.m.

Join Dean Ricardo E. Rodriguez and Associate Dean Christopher Ohan, faculty and fellow alumni from the School of Arts & Sciences (formerly School of Natural & Social Sciences and School of Arts & Letters) for an opportunity to reconnect and network with fellow alums. The reception will be in the Ed & Rae Schollmaier Science and Technology Center on campus and will include snacks, drinks and fellowship. Come back to where your journey started!

Alumni Dinner and Casino Night | $30 | Martin University Center, 7 - 10 p.m.

Come kick off Alumni Weekend at the annual alumni dinner! This year, to add to the fun, enjoy casino entertainment and the opportunity to win great prizes. Enjoy food, drinks, music and friends at this fun evening. Cost includes food, entertainment and one drink ticket.

Saturday, April 20

The President’s Inauguration Brunch Honoring the Class of 1974 | $25 | Martin University Center, 10 a.m.

Enjoy an elegant brunch and mimosa buffet in the beautiful Andrews ballroom that overlooks campus.  The reception will honor the inauguration of Emily W. Messer, Ed.D., the 21st president Texas Wesleyan and the golden anniversary class of 1974. Hear from Dr. Messer and others about the wonderful things happening on campus and the plans for the future. Golden anniversary alumni are invited free of charge!

Blue and Gold Scrimmage | FREE | TXWES Athletic Field, 1 p.m.

Check out the Rams football team as they scrimmage on our new field that is phase one of Cramer Stadium! Bring a lawn chair and see up close our great student athletes and this fantastic new addition to campus. 

TXWES Baseball | FREE | Sycamore Park, 2401 E. Rosedale, 1 p.m.

Cheer on the Rams baseball team as they take on Mid-American Christian University. 

Alumni Music Reunion Concert | FREE | Martin Hall, 2 p.m.

Come enjoy the beautiful music from our alumni chorus and past and present directors.

Wesleyan Wine Walk | $20 | Texas Wesleyan Campus, 4 p.m.

Stroll around campus and learn more about various programs and areas on campus while enjoying food and beverage pairings at designated stops. Participants will receive a commemorative TXWES wine glass. Don't miss this popular annual event! This year will feature: Morton Fitness Center and Esports//The President's Office//Athletic Weight Room//University Bookstore//Alumni Music Performances//and more! 

The 69th Annual Alumni Night at the Spring Musical | $15 | Sone Fine Arts Center, 7:30 p.m.

Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812
Nominated for 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical (2017), Theatre Wesleyan will be one of the first institutions in the country to produce this electro-pop opera about redemption and renewal of the soul based on a scandalous slice of Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace
