Texas Wesleyan students in traditional costume perform ballet folklorico as part of the hispanic heritage month kickoff celebration

On Sept. 15, members of the Latinx Student Organization (LSA) delighted crowds with a set of traditional Ballet Folklórico pieces from the Mexican state of Jalisco as part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff celebration. The members of the group performed intricate steps and wore traditional dress as part of the performance. Ballet Folklórico has its roots in small towns throughout the Americas.
