Students study together in the West Library.

Did your first exam not go as well as you’d hoped? Or maybe, you tried cramming before a quiz. We understand; college can be a whole different ballgame when it comes to being prepared for class. The good news is: it’s not too late to turn it around and become the A-student you know you can be!

Join us from 10:50 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 in Martin Hall for an interactive workshop with Dr. Saundra McGuire. She will introduce learning strategies that will help all students experience meaningful, transferable learning, resulting in A’s in your courses! Trust us. You won’t want to miss this.

Dr. McGuire is the Director Emerita of the Center for Academic Success and Retired Assistant Vice Chancellor and Professor of Chemistry at Louisiana State University. She is the author of Teach Students How to Learn, so you know she knows her stuff. We hope to see you there!
