Please make plans to stop by the Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio & Gallery from 12:15-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 for the 2nd annual Intellectual Disability Awareness Art Gallery Event.

We will be celebrating intellectual disability awareness with an art gallery event to introduce the Texas Wesleyan family to Evergreen Life Services.

Located at 3425 E. Vickery about a mile down from our university, the mission of Evergreen is to “serve, provide for, and champion individuals with disabilities and advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities” by providing help and support to make the dreams of individuals with disabilities become a reality.

Providing clients with an opportunity to create paintings, ceramics, jewelry, sculptures and different pieces of art is one component of the program at Evergreen Life Services. Artwork will be available for purchase at the event with the proceeds split between the artist who created the piece and Evergreen’s social enterprise programs. They will also be available for purchase on Evergeen's website.

Refreshments will be served!
