- received the Texas Orthopedic Associates – Olan B. Locker Scholarship at the SWATA 57th Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposium , Houston, TX (July, 2011)
Grace Savage(Senior)
- received the NAIA Athletic Training Studentscholarship at the NATA 62nd Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposia in New Orleans, LA (June, 2011)
- Grace was the first ever Texas student to receive such an award
- received the Dr. J. Pat Evans scholarship at the SWATA 57th Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposium, Houston, TX (July, 2011)
- won the SWATA undergraduate poster contest with her poster entitled “Type 1 Chiari Malformation in a Collegiate Volleyball Player”, Houston, TX (July, 2011)
Melissa Tice (May 2011 Grad)
- presented a professional poster “Female Collegiate Volleyball Player Participating with Primary Immune Deficiency Disease” in the professional free communications session at the NATA 62nd Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposia in New Orleans, LA (June, 2011)
- Melissa graduated in May but conducted her research during her senior year.
