MLK Montage Art Work

The Division of Student Affairs is excited to announce its enthusiastic participation in the upcoming 39th Annual MLK Day Parade + Rally. Scheduled for January 15, 2024, in downtown Fort Worth, the event will be a vibrant celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s enduring legacy. We are calling upon our dedicated students and TXWES community members to actively represent our university at the parade. Volunteers are encouraged to join at 8:30 a.m., as we decorate the trailer. The lineup begins at 10 a.m., with the parade officially kicking off at 11 a.m.

Participants will receive a commemorative button and breakfast the morning of the event. The first 40 volunteers to get signed up will also receive a t-shirt to wear during the parade. For further information, please reach out to Bertie Gardner at bgardner01@txwes.edu.
