Ram Camp 2013 students

Football is back and Ram fans are starting a new tradition.

After the final whistle, show your school pride and support for the team by coming together to sing the Texas Wesleyan Alma Mater. That means, rain or shine, don’t leave the game early.

Fans will remain in the bleachers and sing to the football team, mascot, dancers and cheerleaders, while they sing facing us from the field.

We all need a little more practice, check out the lyrics below. The new Ram Band will also perform the Alma Mater at the beginning of the game.

Want to be a part of the Ram Band? Contact Paul Sikes, plsikes@txwes.edu. Have an idea for another Ram tradition? Email jlacy@txwes.edu. You can check out the 2017 Football schedule on ramsports.net, as well as all the information you need to know about the stadium and tailgating at ramsports.net/gameday.

Texas Wesleyan Alma Mater

Hail to Thee, dear Texas Wesleyan

From the heart, I give my praise.

In the paths of high endeavor,

Fame and fortune crown your days.

Streaming forth a line of splendor,

Sons and daughters all declare

Living testimony render,

To the worthy name you bear
