Chatashia has spent several years in higher education working to enhance diversity and inclusion efforts through programming, research and education. She received her Bachelor of General Studies from Texas Women's University and her Master of Higher Education Leadership from Texas Christian University. In her free time, she loves to travel, try new restaurants, watch sports and spend quality time with her family.

Student Diversity and Inclusion Programs is here to assist in the engagement, academic success and retention of minoritized students and offer guidance and support to these student populations by providing events, training, workshops, advising and mentorship that promotes cultural awareness and fosters inclusivity.
