The cast and collaborative pianist of Opera Tonight! OPERATXWES' Fall 2018 performance on stage

The Department of Music at Texas Wesleyan University presents an OperaTXWES performance of opera scenes. The evening will feature scenes from The Magic Flute, The Mikado, Gianni Schicchi and Hamlet. We also celebrate Leonard Bernstein’s centennial with ‘Tonight’ from West Side Story.

The cast is comprised of ten Wesleyan music majors, ranging from freshmen to seniors. The scenes reflect a multitude of styles and emotions. Sara Steele provides the orchestration on our remarkable Steinway piano as Julie McCoy directs the production, assisted by Jennifer Carr.

The Department of Music and its students invite you to experience an evening of beautiful music and lots of fun. Admission is free.
