Texas Wesleyan has partnered with the American Kennel Club to promote Responsible Dog Ownership Month and will be teaching guests the importance of responsible pet ownership. We have also partnered with the Humane Society of North Texas to adopt out pets that are looking for their ‘fur’ever home and help fund their future community efforts by sharing the proceeds of the event with them.

The Texas Wesleyan chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma is hosting a K9 Karnival on campus from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24.

The vendors and presenters will include a variety of local organizations centered around our four-legged, furry friends. We will be featuring guest speakers, demonstrations, and entertainment that will help to educate the community and entertain the crowd. There will be breeds of all shapes and sizes to see, in addition to plenty of other pets to interact with.

Come one. Come all. Come those with feet and paw.

  • When: Sept. 24, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Where: Texas Wesleyan campus mall (center of campus)
  • Who: All are invited… four-legged companions included (as long as they have a leash)!

This pet education and pet adoption event event is part of a large effort to bring together people, pets and professionals in our community in order to strengthen the bond between companions and their owners. We have partnered with the American Kennel Club to promote Responsible Dog Ownership Month and will be teaching guests the importance of responsible pet ownership. We have also partnered with the Humane Society of North Texas to adopt out pets that are looking for their ‘fur’ever home and help fund their future community efforts by sharing the proceeds of the event with them.
