Nurse anesthesia residents gain hands-on clinical experience in CRNA training

08.20.2014 | By:

Clinical training for nurse anesthesia residents consists of the actual administration of general and regional anesthesia with qualified clinical instructors (anesthesiologists and/or CRNAs) at primary clinical sites.

Texas Wesleyan has 25 clinical sites in 11 states, with multiple sites in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas and Ohio, as well as well as locations in Alabama, California, Florida, Kentucky and North Dakota.

A clinical coordinator facilitates clinical education in the hospital setting, and is responsible for all aspects of clinical and didactic education for the nurse anesthesia residents.
