Dr. Sandra Hile Hart, Professor of Marketing

Dr. Sandra Hile Hart, professor of marketing, is the recipient of this year’s Earl Brown Award.

Established in 1986, the Earl Brown Distinguished Faculty Award is a coveted annual award given to a Wesleyan faculty member who displays quality in the areas of teaching, scholarship, community and University service and personal integrity. The award was established by an anonymous donor to recognize the distinguished contributions of Dr. Earl Brown, first recipient of the award.

Dr. Hart is dedicated to exploring creative ways to better teach students on a regular basis. She creates an interactive learning environment that will further the intuition through marketing plans for actual businesses, integrating technology and incorporating her worldly experience with in-class hands-on activities.

She received her undergraduate degree from Lamar University, her graduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and later, her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.

We are pleased and honored to have her as a faculty member.

Congratulations, Dr. Hart!
