About Professor Brown 

Dominique Brown enters her first year as the Lead Athletic Trainer for Texas Wesleyan University Football. Prior to becoming a Ram, Dominique served 12 Intercollegiate Sports as the Head Athletic Trainer for Lane College, a member of the NCAA D-II Southern Intercollegiate Athletics Conference. While at Lane College, she also served as one of the on-site coordinators for NCAA Drug testing, coordinator of daily athletic training operations, and supervised the care and prevention of athletic injuries.

Brown is a native of Edmond, Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelors’ degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from Langston University (Langston, OK) in 2008. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma where she earned a Masters’ degree in Athletic Training under the direction of the 2011 National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer, and 2017 NATA Hall of Fame Inductee Jeff McKibbin.

 Dominique is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and is licensed by the Teas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers.

 Dominique is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
