TXWES senior athletic training students Julio Ibarra and Breanne Zuniga were selected to present their research during the free communication poster presentation at the Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposia.

“Our students are active members of the athletic training community, locally and nationally,” said Chelsea Procter-Willman, visiting assistant professor of athletic training. “This was an amazing opportunity for our students to show off their research and to network with both peers and professionals.”

Students must apply and be selected by the committee to present. Julio presented "Nerve Compression due to the Presence of an Anconeus Epitrochlearis in a Collegiate Baseball Player.” Breanne presented her research "Consecutive Jones Fracture in a High School Football Player."
