Whitney Dennis has been promoted to director of graduate and global admissions at Texas Wesleyan University. Dennis will oversee global online and international as well as adult recruitment.

Dennis has been with TXWES for nearly five years, with about 10 years of experience in admissions. She contributed significantly to enrollment growth in online graduate programs. She has also supported international recruitment efforts as a strategy to expand online enrollment.

“We are excited to have Whitney serve in this role,” said Vice President of Enrollment Lauren Findley. “Her commitment to current and prospective students speaks to her servant leadership. We are excited to see her grow our enrollment for our university.”

Dennis said, “I am incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to expand my work to include recruitment of international students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Working in graduate and professional school recruitment has been exciting for me because I am passionate about helping people enroll in programs that will help them pursue their dreams.”

“After my first role in undergraduate admissions,” Dennis continued, “I taught ESL composition to international students at Louisiana State University; I loved working with students from all over the world, and I learned just as much from them as they learned from me. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the international student population once again — this time from the recruitment side. TXWES and Fort Worth have become home for me, and I look forward to helping international students find their second home here as well.”

Please join us in congratulating Whitney on this well-earned recognition.
