Texas Wesleyan University is offering all-new scholarship packages to new freshman and transfer students from $16,000 to $22,000. We're all about making a top-tier education, like ours, more affordable.

How big of a scholarship can I get?

For freshman students, scholarships range from $16,000–$22,000 per year and can be used for up to four years. For transfer students, scholarships range from $17,000–$20,000 per year and can be used for up to three years. Scholarship money is also now available for summer classes—for both freshman and transfers.

Take your TXWES scholarship and add it to the other financial aid, such as federal or state grants, work study, student loans, outside scholarships and more. You're looking at graduating from college with as little debt as possible. Who doesn't want that?

How do I qualify?

You'll know what you qualify for before you even apply to Texas Wesleyan. Freshman and transfer scholarship eligibility is based on GPA and/or test scores. Meet the requirements and we'll offer you a scholarship upon admission to the University.

Keep in mind, there are renewability requirements as well. While at TXWES, you're required to maintain a certain GPA and number of credit hours taken per semester depending on your scholarship. Read the scholarship policies and rules to maintain a scholarship, what programs qualify and more.

How do I apply?

Financial aid is confusing enough, we make it as simple and straightforward as possible to understand your award from TXWES. There are no hoops to jump through or big obstacles to overcome. When you apply to the University, you're applying for scholarships. It's that simple.
