TXWES Behind The Scenes: Theatre Wesleyan is set for July 30 and you won’t want to miss this night of fun as we take a look into our amazing theatre program.

We’re got quite the lineup of staff, faculty and students to show you all the hard work that goes into each and every one of their shows. Check out these students we’ll be featuring at the event:

Taylor Allen, Junior
BFA, Design and Technology
Favorite Theatre Wesleyan show: “Avenue Q where I was the master electrician.”
Favorite memory: “The Mr. Burns camping trip we went on in September. Good food, good fun. It allowed me to get close with some of my newer classmates.”

Lauren Garza, Senior
BFA, Design and Technology
Favorite Theatre Wesleyan show: “They are both very different but it’s a tie between Smokefall as the stage manager and Avenue Q in which I played Lucy.”
Favorite memory: “My favorite memory so far was going to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. It was amazing!”

Darin Martin, Senior
BFA, Musical Theatre
Favorite Theatre Wesleyan show: “I loved playing Rod in Avenue Q.”
Favorite memory: “Watching Bryan Stevenson, Director and Department Chair, demonstrate to me the proper way to climb on the deck of a ship menacingly during a rehearsal for Mr. Burns. Lots of laughing ensued.”
