Jordan Boone ’16 to receive Young Alumnus Achievement Award

10.02.2019 | By:

Jordan Michael Boone is a native of Fort Worth, born and raised in the southeast side of the city. Jordan grew up playing nearly every sport his schedule permitted, ultimately sticking with basketball into college.

Jordan was never afraid to work hard with entrepreneurship being his passion. In 2015, he launched NationTen Brand while he was a student at Texas Wesleyan University. He started selling t-shirts to fellow students, specifically athletes, out of the trunk of his car.  Those early relationships set the standard for his business plan. Develop and sustain good relationships with your customers and give them exceptional service.

Jordan’s motivation to start a business was fueled by his drive to change the course of his life. He grew up in a poverty-stricken neighborhood and had a passion to change his own circumstances. Jordan’s determination has lead him thus far in the early stages of his career and his future is certainly promising.

Help celebrate Jordan and his entrepreneurship at the Alumni Medal Dinner on Oct. 18 in the Martin Center.
