What is Giving Day?

During Giving Day 2026, the RAMily has 24 hours to unite and help Texas Wesleyan University continue to provide our students with strong academic programs and crucial financial aid.

Time and time again, our TXWES community has demonstrated the huge impact that’s made when we all join together. Last year’s FIRST annual Giving Day event raised over 50K for the university!  

Make your gift — big or small — anytime between March 1 and midnight on March 31, to make a difference. Plus, on March 31, you’ll be able to watch our progress online and participate in gift challenges! 

Why is Giving Back to the University Important?

Donor giving percentages affect the university's national rankings. Foundations and corporations consider the donor giving percentage before awarding grants to Texas Wesleyan. Gifts of any size truly make a difference.
Giving Day donations go directly to the Wesleyan Fund, our Annual Fund, which allows us to be nimble and direct dollars wherever they are needed, including our biggest priorities:

Scholarships. There are students today who deserve a Texas Wesleyan education but don’t think it is financially possible. Scholarships close the gap between working hard for a degree and being able to afford a degree.

Faculty recruitment and retention. The professors who not only inspire our Rams but make personal connections with each student are some of the greatest aspects of our academic experience.

A student experience second to none. From keeping our campus beautiful to offering tech support when students need it, the Wesleyan Fund supports the small and the big. 
Or if you prefer, you can give directly to the Champions Club, campus beautification, the new marching band, the honors program, or spiritual life!
