You don't have to wait until Sept. 14 to give. Schedule your gift today and make a difference at TXWES.

Eric's Story

Why Texas Wesleyan?

"As a non-traditional student, I chose Texas Wesleyan because it was close to home. I also attended TXWES because of the individual attention and care I observed during my visits to the campus."

What do you like most about TXWES?

"Class size! I truly enjoyed being a learner in a class where the professor knew my name and was able to make connections to my learning in the world of education. My professors demonstrated a genuine enjoyment in preparing future teachers to be successful in the classroom."

How has Texas Wesleyan had a positive influence in your life?

"I felt very prepared as a new teacher after graduating from Texas Wesleyan. My professors stayed in touch with me and gave me advice and support even after leaving their classroom. Being able to use library resources from the West Library was helpful in my first years. At Texas Wesleyan, I was a member of a learning community, a community that was always there and that I wanted to return to for graduate school."

About North Texas Giving Day
