You’re planning for your college career. You’ve got big hopes and bright dreams. You can see yourself, strolling across the rolling hills of campus. But ... you still haven't applied.

Well, snap to it! Priority deadline is Dec. 15, and you don’t want to miss it. Getting your application in before the priority deadline gives you a chance at more scholarships and other opportunities. The earlier you apply, the more money is available through scholarships and financial aid. And we’d all like the opportunity at a little more money, right?

Here’s what you need to do to make sure you’re on route and on schedule to starting next fall at Texas Wesleyan.

Go online and apply

You can apply online either through our Web site or via Apply Texas – pick which one works best for you. An application takes about 10 minutes, and you’ll need some basic information like your intended major, emergency contact number and where you’ve gone to high school or college. It’s pretty easy.

Submit your test scores

Sharpen your pencils: If you’re a new freshman (a student graduating from high school and going to college) who has never taken a college course, you’ll need to submit your SAT or ACT test scores.

Submit your transcripts

If you’re applying as a transfer student (you’ve taken college courses before), you’ll need to submit a transcript from any college or university you’ve attended. Even if you’re only taken a few courses, you still might need to submit your transcripts. If you have a question, get in touch with one of our counselors and they can help. If you’re a high school student, you’ll need to submit your high school transcript.

Wait patiently … or come visit

One of the great “Smaller. Smarter.” parts of Texas Wesleyan is that you won’t be waiting long for an admission decision. We usually get back to applying students within a few weeks.

If you’ve already visited campus or you couldn’t find us on a map, scheduling a visit after you apply is a great way to learn more about the atmosphere of any college or university. At Texas Wesleyan, scheduling a visit will give you a feel for the small school experience. We have our final Ram Preview days of the semester coming up, and we’ll resume tours again early next year.
