Support student scholarships through North Texas Giving Day

09.12.2013 | By: Texas Wesleyan University
North Texas Giving Day

Sept. 19 is North Texas Giving Day. Each online donation of $25 or more given through DonorBridge will be multiplied.

Simply visit our DonorBridge giving webpage between 7 a.m. and midnight next Thursday. Worried about remembering? Go ahead and go there now and make it your homepage for next week.

Your donation will support student scholarships at the University. Plus, all gifts will qualify the University for a portion of $1 million in bonus funds making your dollars go further.

"DonorBridge is a unique opportunity for Texas Wesleyan to raise additional funds for student scholarships as the Communities Foundation of Texas will multiply all donations," Christine Spencer, director of annual giving, said. "This special opportunity occurs just one day a year. Don’t forget to click on the link for North Texas Giving Day on Sept. 19. Thank you for participating."

Student scholarships are essential for many students to attend college.

"Scholarship support has been my only way of affording a college degree, and Texas Wesleyan has given me endless opportunities," said Abbey Borghee, a sophomore political science major.

"Texas Wesleyan has alleviated the stress of having to pay for college, and I can now focus on my degree and involvement with campus activities."

Whether from your desk, your couch or your bed, help support student scholarships on Sept. 19. Contact Christine Spencer at 817-531-5803 or if you have any questions.
