Donate to Meals on Wheels at the West Library!

11.15.2022 | By: West Library

For the last 13 years, the TXWES community has been one of the largest donors of Christmas gifts to Meals on Wheels (MOW). The West Library has a long history of collecting gifts, monetary donations and pet food for the MOW clients during the holidays.

This year, we are accepting monetary donations to fulfill as many of the clients’ Christmas requests as possible. Please drop your donation of any amount (spare change, cash or check made out to Meals on Wheels) into the box at the Circulation Desk from Nov. 11 to Dec. 14. Meals On Wheels of Tarrant County (https://mealsonwheels.org/about/) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that started in 1973 and delivers 1.7 million meals annually to homebound clients regardless of age, though the median age of clients is 75 years old with a median monthly income of $1,200.

Please help us continue this proud tradition!
