The West Library Christmas Tree Decorating Contest is back!

The annual West Library Christmas Tree Dcorating Contest is upon us!

Pick up a tree at the Circulation Desk starting on Nov. 1 until Nov. 30. Trees are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.

Decorate your tree to fit into one of these categories:

  • Traditional Christmas
  • Texas Wesleyan Spirit
  • Non-Traditional

Return the tree to the Circulation Desk by Nov. 30. Trees will be on display at the West Library Reference area until Dec. 5.

Judging will take place by three independent judges. All trees will remain anonymous until the winners are announced on Wednesday December 6th at noon.

One prize will be awarded in each category and a special prize awarded to the tree that sells for the highest bid.

You may either pick up your tree between Dec. 6 - 12 or you may donate your tree to be purchased in the auction. Donated trees will be sold in a live auction which will take place Wednesday, Dec. 6 following the announcement of the winners. Each tree will have a beginning bid of $10. All proceeds will go to Meals On Wheels of Tarrant County. Please bring cash or check if you plan to bid.
