Texas Wesleyan students have a new campus eatery to look forward to this semester. Opening Aug. 18, West Express Eatery, located in the north side of the Baker Building, will feature two dining concepts served up fresh and made-to-order.

“We are very excited to debut the West Express Eatery and are certain the fresh concepts, convenient location and to-go options will be a big hit with students, faculty and staff,” Pati Alexander, vice president of enrollment and student services, said. “Although it is unfortunate that the Dora’s Dining Hall renovation project is delayed, we couldn’t be more pleased with the dining selections available.”

In addition to the new West Express Eatery, a full-service dining location, named The Sub, will be located in the Brown Lupton Campus Center.

In addition to The Sub and West Express Eatery, local vendors such as Central Market and Campesino’s will provide food trucks on campus and Subway has reopened on Rosedale.

“We are committed to creating a positive dining experience for our students while the Dora’s project is underway,” Alexander said.
