Planning is underway for the Gala celebrating 125th anniversary

Texas Wesleyan is getting ready to kick off a yearlong celebration of its 125-year history during the 2015-16 academic year.

Planning is underway for the Gala celebrating Texas Wesleyan's 125th anniversary. The event will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the Worthington Renaissance Hotel in downtown Fort Worth. Louella Baker Martin is chairing the Gala, with congresswoman and Wesleyan alumna Kay Granger serving as honorary chair. A highlight of the evening will be the premiere of a composition commissioned in honor of the 125th anniversary, performed by the Wesleyan Chamber Singers and Wind Ensemble.

Nearly three-fourths of the available tables for the Gala are already sponsored. However, a limited number of tickets will be reserved for sale to individuals, with discounted pricing offered to current faculty and staff. An email to faculty and staff in early January will announce the date those tickets go on sale.
