Texas Wesleyan University & Leadership Fort Worth Sign MOU — Expanding Pathways for Fort Worth’s Emerging Leaders

Texas Wesleyan University and Leadership Fort Worth (LFW) officially signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) strengthening their long-standing partnership and expanding professional growth opportunities for Fort Worth’s current and future leaders. The agreement enhances access to graduate education for LFW members and alumni.

Building on a Legacy of Community Leadership
Leadership Fort Worth is one of the nation’s oldest community leadership‑development organizations and has a goal of engaging and challenging local leaders to build a better future for Fort Worth.
Texas Wesleyan has long been connected to LFW as one of its founding organizations—alongside the Fort Worth Chamber, Junior League of Fort Worth, TCU and UT Arlington—making this partnership a natural extension of shared values and collective vision.
During the signing ceremony, TXWES representatives shared their excitement about formalizing this new chapter.
“We are delighted to strengthen our existing partnership with Leadership Fort Worth by offering current members and alumni the opportunity to pursue graduate degree programs at TXWES through our new MOU and we are excited to support this opportunity for continuing education and career growth as they pursue advanced degrees in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling and School Counseling,” said Dr. Emily Messer, university president.
