Texas Wesleyan University and Everman ISD are teaming up to launch a powerful new initiative through the TXWES CTE College & Career Connections program. The initiative will create a direct pathway for students to become the next generation of hometown educators.

Program Highlights:
Students earn up to 12 hours of college credit before graduating high school.
Small classroom settings with instructors who have real-world high school teaching experience
High pass rates on licensing exams, thanks to exceptional training

Preferred interviews for full-time teaching roles with partner ISDs

This initiative blends academic excellence, community investment and student success to transform the future of education, starting right here at home. Let’s celebrate this commitment to creating hometown educators who will return, teach and lead in the communities that shaped them.
