TXWES named top regional university by 'U.S. News & World Report' for 9th year
U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 Best Colleges and Universities rankings are in and for the ninth year in a row, Texas Wesleyan is ranked in the No. 1 tier of Regional Universities in the West.
“These rankings are a reflection of our high-quality faculty who are dedicated to student success, our commitment to making private education affordable and our mission to develop students to their full potential,” President Frederick G. Slabach, said. “The Texas Wesleyan faculty, staff and board of trustees are centered on student achievement and we celebrate this recognition together.”
Other schools on the Best Regional Universities list include Santa Clara University (California), Trinity University, (San Antonio), Loyola Marymount University (California), and Gonzaga University (Washington state).

Affordable private education
The Best Value School ranking reaffirms Texas Wesleyan’s dedication to making private education affordable. Ninety-five percent of TXWES students receive some form of financial aid and in Fall 2017, undergraduates received more than $19 million in scholarships, institutional grants and financial aid.
Best Colleges for Veterans
Texas Wesleyan’s size and services make it an ideal campus for a military veteran to earn their degree. We provide important student services to veterans, from disability services and professional counseling to career services and academic tutoring. Our small class sizes allow veteran students the opportunity to build relationships with highly trained faculty and succeed academically.

Since 2012, the University has made more than $50 million in capital improvements and freshman applications have increased by 400 percent.
