The Texas Wesleyan men's basketball team took time from a busy week of important conference games to help and hang out with first graders at Alice Contreras Elementary School on Friday.

The Rams, who are coming off a 73-67 win over Central Christian last night, took some time to help first graders with reading as a part of Alice Contreras Elementary's 'Read to Succeed' program. The team assisted students in reading through favorites such as Corduroy, Curious George, Flat Stanley and Star Wars, as well as many books in Spanish.

Texas Wesleyan will host No. 12 Oklahoma City University on Thursday, Jan. 17 at the Sid Richardson Center. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. with the women's team playing the Stars at 6 p.m.
