Table tennis team faces archrival Mississippi College in regionals Feb. 20-21

The heat is on.

Table tennis regional action fires up this weekend in the Sid Richardson Center as the Rams take on their archrivals from Mississippi College.

Texas Wesleyan's 11-time national championship table tennis team is currently on the hunt for another national title.

In 2015, Texas Wesleyan battled Mississippi College in the TMS College Table Tennis National Championships finals. The score was tied before Mississippi College went on to survive a championship point and win the final set 12-10.

This year, the Rams are out to reclaim their No. 1 ranking and secure a 12th national title.

The top three team’s from this weekend’s tournament will move on to the national championship in Round Rock, Texas March 22-27.

Date and times:

Sat., Feb. 20 – Team competition – 3 to 8 p.m. (Final round starts at 7 p.m.)

Sun., Feb. 21 – Singles competition – 9 a.m. to noon

Admission: FREE
