President's Picnic is back and better than ever

08.10.2016 | By: Texas Wesleyan University
Students explore campus organizations at the 2014 President's Picnic.

Picnics are typically thought of as quiet and relaxing, sitting under a shaded tree. At Texas Wesleyan, we take it to the next level. We've ramped up this idea with free swag, student organizations, free barbecue, loud music, rock climbing walls, bungee jumps and much more. We call it President's Picnic, and this year, it is going to be better than ever.

And you won't want to miss it. It's the first big event of the school year. So grab one of your fellow Rams and get connected through an organization, play a few games, score a free shirt or two, and stuff your stomach full of some good 'ole Texas barbecue. We'll see you there!!

The President's Picnic starts at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in Sid W. Richardson Center and outside of Sid Richardson in the outdoor foyer. We'll see you there!
