Major Gifts

Establish an Endowment

Endowed funds are essential to the advancement and financial stability of a university, as they are donations that grow each and every year.

If you establish an endowed fund, a portion of the earnings from your investment will go to University operations each year. The remainder will go back into the principal, providing a steady source of financing for the University. Endowed funds make up a substantial portion of the University’s annual operating income.

There are several categories of endowments:

Endowment Type
Minimum Funding Level
Endowed Distinguished Chair
$2,500,000
Endowed Chair
$1,000,000
Endowed Professorship
$500,000
Endowed Fellowship
$200,000
Endowed Lectureship
$50,000
Academic Program Endowment Fund
$50,000
Endowed Scholarship
$25,000

Sponsorships

Event sponsorship is what allows the University to bring Texas Wesleyan alumni, faculty, staff, students and the community together. Your sponsorship will support current event initiatives and help to create new opportunities for networking in the future.

Capital Improvements

At Texas Wesleyan, we are looking toward what’s to come. Our campus, facilities and curriculum are always changing in order to best fit the needs of our students. New construction, restoration of historic facilities and new in-classroom technology are all a part of making Texas Wesleyan a great choice for the modern college student.

Plus, we’ve got clear goals for the future. See for yourself at txwes.edu/2020Vision.
