Find Your Advisors

Now that you are a Ram, you need to pick the best classes for you! Our advisors are experts at helping students plan their courses each semester. Your advisor will help you navigate your degree plan to reach your graduation goal. They can also help you solve non-academic issues, so make it a point to visit with them often.

If you're new to Texas Wesleyan, you'll receive your initial academic advising by attending either a freshman or transfer orientation.

Who Is Your Advisor?

At Texas Wesleyan, you are assigned an academic advisor and a faculty advisor based on your major in our shared advising model. You will want to meet with both of your advisors during your time at Texas Wesleyan. Each one will play an important role in helping you reach your goals.

Once you've been assigned a specific advisor, you can find your advisor in Ramlink or contact the Academic Advising Office for help.

How To Prepare For Your Visit

Look for an email from Academic Advising requesting you schedule an advising appointment. To make your advising appointment as productive as possible, bring your ideas of classes you would like to take for the next semester. It's a good idea to fill out any forms you need during advising to speed up the registration process later.
