The first meeting of the Social Justice club took place Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the student lounge on the second floor of PUMC.

Officers chosen were Alex Zamores, Rebekah Charleston, Kendall Kisor and Darrian Smothers. The officers will meet next Tuesday, Sept. 22, to iron out dates of future meetings, create by-laws and the constitution and to actively set up the club with Student Life. 

The objective of the club is to make a difference in society. We will be actively pursuing events and causes that we, as students, can be a part of to make a difference in our community. This means not only participating in other organized events, but also creating events and causes which we feel important.
