Heida Reed, Ph.D., visiting professor of business administration, was honored with the Engaging Educator Award on April 10.

Since taking over the Advanced Applications Course at the Texas Wesleyan School of Business Administration in the fall of 2015, the pass rate for students taking the Microsoft Excel certification exam has grown from about 45% to 98.7%.

“That substantial increase is due in large measure to Dr. Reed’s success in creating her own practice exam as well as her dedication to her students,” Frederick G. Slabach, President, said.
