Yes! All graduates to participate in the Commencement Ceremony are required to RSVP no later than 11:50 p.m. on Friday August 8, 2025.

Graduates who do not RSVP for the commencement ceremony will be ineligible to participate. A graduate who misses the RSVP deadline is invited to participate in the following semester's commencement ceremony.

The RSVP site will close at 11:50 p.m. on Friday, August 8.

Graduates must successfully order or purchase their regalia to be eligible to RSVP for the commencement ceremony.

Graduates will need their student ID and TXWES email to RSVP to participate in the commencement ceremony.

Graduates who fail to place their order by the designated deadline can purchase their regalia directly from the University Campus Bookstore beginning July 16. All purchases must be made in-person and an additional fee will apply. Selected items are not guaranteed to be in stock — quantities are limited.  

In the event you are unable to obtain your regalia, you will be ineligible to participate in graduation ceremonies. However, you will be given the opportunity to participate in the ceremony the following term.

Yes. Your regalia fee will need to be paid when you place your order. We encourage graduates to order early.

Graduates who placed their order by July 16 will have their regalia shipped directly to them. Graduates who missed the deadline can purchase their regalia directly from the University Campus Bookstore beginning on July 23 — quantities are limited. Regalia purchased at the University Campus Bookstore will be received at the time of purchase.

Graduates are allowed to decorate the top of your graduation cap. Please make sure that it will not block the view of the guest sitting behind you, and it must be in good taste. Caps decorated in poor taste will not be allowed.

Yes, tickets are required for all of our commencement ceremonies. Graduates who submit an RSVP during the designated RSVP period will receive 7 tickets for guests to attend the ceremony. 

No. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors open one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.  

Tickets are not required for children under the age of two seated on an adult’s lap for the ceremony. Children over the age of two must have a ticket to attend. If a child needs a seat, they need a ticket.

Each graduate will receive 7 tickets. You will be notified when tickets are ready to be picked up.

No. Ticket requests must come from the graduate.
